Episode 961 Jack (Arthur Leslie) is annoyed when he can’t get a clean shirt or a cup of tea. Similarly, the other men can’t get anything from their women. Albert (Jack Howarth) finds it funny until Val (Anne Reid) refuses to do his laundry. Ena (Violet Carson) gives Stan (Bernard Youens) a score for a song. Cyril (William Moore) tells the men to unite against the women's tactics. Ena is surprised to hear Len (Peter Adamson) whistling her tune, which he says he heard at the Robin Hood. Stan lies and tells Ena the song failed. Ken (Bill Roache) suggests a "kibbutz" at No.9. At the Robin Hood, Ena hears Mickie singing her song, and is left furious when she learns Stan has taken credit for it.
