48 Hours Van Camping at an Oregon Alpine Lake | My First Time Kayaking!

Welcome back to Chupacabra Adventures! This week I finally get two days off from camp hosting, so it’s time to enjoy some peaceful van life camping at a beautiful Oregon alpine lake. I spend 48 hours setting up my summer campsite, cleaning out the fire pit, hanging my hammock, putting up lights, and making this little corner of the forest feel like home. Then comes something I’ve never done before… At 48 years old, I climb into an inflatable kayak for the very first time! It was exciting, a little nerve-racking, and honestly something I wish I had tried years ago. Of course, no camping trip would be complete without some great food.
