Lithuania's Secret Nuclear Missile Bunker | Samogitia | Teutonic Road Trip 2022
In Plokštinė, deep in the forests of the Lithuanian region of Samogitia lies a hidden Soviet Missile base. It used to have the capacity to wipe out western Europe. Four 30 meters deep missile silos and 7 levels of bunker system to operate it. Today it is a museum called "The Cold War Museum". With my interest for history, it was a no brainer to visit it. Even though it took me on quite a trek to get there. You are so incredibly invited to join me on the Teutonic Road Trip 2022, where I am driving from Ventspils in Latvia to Gdansk in Poland, exploring every nook and cranny along the way. History, beauty, tales, bunkers, knights, beaches, weird stuff, nazis, bolsheviks, curonians, amber, tanks, the love for life and the potential end of the world are mixed in this Teutonic tonic of a road trip.
