Gothic Remake: New Camp

So far I still don’t really get the appeal of the New Camp. There aren’t that many activities, and most people barely interact with you beyond a few half-empty conversations. At this point it feels like the main thing you can do here is sell weed to mercenaries. I still haven’t figured out how to get to Lee, though honestly I wasn’t even in a hurry to meet him. But it looks like I’ll have to. Because if I want to become a mage, it’s probably best to join either the Water Mages or the Fire Mages. At least in the original Gothic, only they could eventually teach you up to Circle 5 magic. The Swamp Camp route only goes up to Circle 4, which means you can never reach Circle 6 later. And honestly, I like the Water Mages more. The whole water theme appeals to me, and visually it looks better too. Though if the Swamp Mages could teach me up to Circle 5, I’d probably choose them instead. I like the whole wind and sleep stuff they do. And while I was in the New Camp, I finally found the person who gave me the opportunity to convince the last Guru to support me.
