Follow me across Georgia as I visit 25 filming locations from AMC's The Walking Dead and use them to tell the basic story of Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes. Over two fast-paced days in May 2026, I traveled across Georgia to document many of the real-world locations used throughout the series. From Rick's awakening in a deserted hospital and his first steps into the apocalypse, to key moments that shaped his leadership and ultimately his final stand on the bridge, this adventure connects the filming locations with the character's story. Rather than simply showing filming locations, this project combines travel, storytelling, on-location narration and brief scene references to create a unique Walking Dead experience.
