NHRA Southern Nationals 2026 | Adel GA - Experiencing Saturday's Qualifying

I headed to the NHRA Southern Nationals at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel Ga hoping to experience the traveling 'Thunder-Storm' which includes the ground-pounding Nitro Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars. But Mother-Nature wanted to take over the show. The NHRA Southern National return this year after it had ended in Commerce Georgia back in 2021. It has been absent for 4 years and now is virtually in my back yard in South Georgia. Oh yes...Mother-Nature. All is not bad because of dangerously dry conditions in our area and fires in portions of the state, we actually welcomed the rain. Watch my experience to see if we can be treated to another round of qualifying before race day on Sunday.
