HON. ABDALLAH ALHASSAN IDDI PROVIDES A THREE-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK FOR JINLO COMMUNITY. JINLO, SALAGA NORTH – May 16, 2026 Residents of Jinlo Community in the Salaga North Constituency have received a major boost in educational infrastructure following the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a modern three-unit classroom block. The project, which is being funded by THE WULUGU PROJECT, a development-focused organization based in Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana, aims to improve access to quality education and create a conducive learning environment for school children in the community. The sod-cutting ceremony was done by Hon. Alhassan Abdallah Iddi, former Member of Parliament for Salaga North, who expressed his appreciation to THE WULUGU PROJECT (Rev. Solomon Nachina- The Director) for its commitment to supporting rural communities through impactful development initiatives. He noted that education remains a key pillar for community growth and emphasized the need for stakeholders to continue investing in school infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Speaking at the event, community leaders and residents welcomed the intervention, describing it as a timely response to the challenges facing education in the area. They highlighted the inadequate classroom facilities that have affected pupils and teachers over the years and expressed optimism that the new classroom block would help address overcrowding and improve academic performance among students. The three-unit classroom block is expected to provide a safe, comfortable, and modern learning environment for hundreds of pupils in Jinlo and surrounding communities. THE WULUGU PROJECT reiterated its commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities across Northern Ghana through investments in education, health, water, and other social development projects. Community members have pledged their full support for the successful execution of the project and expressed gratitude to both THE WULUGU PROJECT and all stakeholders who played a role in making the initiative possible.
