The Streets of Annandale, from colonial origins with grand villas, to echoes of the Rum Rebellion

Annandale’s tree-lined streets hold layers of Sydney’s early history — from its grand 19th-century villas and workers’ cottages to its ties with the Rum Rebellion and the early colonial land grants that shaped the suburb. Once a vision of a “model town,” Annandale still reflects the ambition and turbulence of Sydney’s formative years. Out and about with me as I share my exploring and discovery of new places. I enjoy the creative outlet of filming and editing my videos, researching, planning, filming, editing and work towards a weekly upload schedule. I aim to keep the camera rolling no matter what the situation is. My opinions are my own. Let me know if you have any recommendations for future video content.
