Kalendarz i czas - Matematyka Szkoła Podstawowa i Gimnazjum

In this video, I present the units of time and their uses. I show how to read the time on both analog and digital clocks, explain the relationships between a second, a minute, a quarter of an hour, an hour, and a day. I discuss the lengths of the months and introduce the concepts of month, quarter, year, leap year, and century. I explain the differences in the number of days in each month, including the special case of February. I demonstrate a method to remember the length of months using the knuckles of your hands and present the rule of divisibility by 4 as the condition for a leap year. Finally, I explain when centuries begin and end. Contents: 1. Units of time: second, minute, quarter, hour, day 2. Analog and digital clocks – reading the time 3.
