Decoupage on Wood with Rice Paper – Vintage Book Box Tutorial

In this tutorial I decorate a wooden book box with rice paper, silicone mould elements and an aged vintage finish. Step by step, you will see how to prepare the wood, apply rice paper without wrinkles, add ornamental details cast from silicone moulds and finish everything with a dark patina that gives the box the look of an old keepsake book. The inside gets a rich violet coat with a damask stencil detail.
