It turns out the squatters were living in a tent directly on top of a sewer mound, complete with a makeshift bathroom made from a hole in the bottom of a chair. The aftermath of squatters who wrecked this abandoned homestead is shocking to say the least. As we continue restoring this abandoned homestead, we uncover even more trash and debris left behind by squatters while searching for an existing septic and sewer system hidden beneath the property. We also begin planning utilities for the future, including electrical service, water, and septic connections, while continuing the demolition of abandoned structures and cleanup efforts across the land. Every step forward seems to uncover a new challenge on this forgotten Florida property.
