Repotting Ficus benjamina clump style

This time I'm going through the process of repotting Ficus benjamina, also know as the weeping Ficus. I discuss the steps I take when repotting weeping Ficus, when it is necessary to completely remove the existing soil, root pruning, and what soil to use for Ficus benjamina. This Ficus benjamina plant wasn't in what you might call a good shape when I bought it some time ago. Since then it recovered and now it's time to repot this Ficus plant. What I initially thought was a regular group potting proved to be more of a clump style Ficus benjamina due to the large tuberous roots that are starting to fuse together creating a common root base normally seen in a clump style bonsai. I will let it recover for a while after repotting and root work before proceeding with pruning back the branches to reduce the overall height as a next step in creating a clump style Ficus benjamina bonsai. #ficusbenjamina #ficusbonsai #repottingficus
