Ficus Bonsai Care and Pruning

In this video I talk about the Ficus Retusa. Growing indoor bonsai has become very popular and for some people bonsai is just about indoor trees. One of most successful indoor bonsai trees is the Ficus Retusa, they grow well and they like a slightly warmer temperatures than many of the other indoor options (like the Chinese Elm, Sageretia etc). One of the biggest killers of bonsai is watering (either under or over watering) ensure the soil is moist and do not allow it to dry out. I show you how to prune the Ficus and I work on a multitude of different shapes and sizes of tree. Top Tip: Watch out for Aphids or scale insects on the Ficus as these can harm the tree.
