We left Teiú aside for a day and went with my friend Luiz for a leisurely, contemplative ride on the Rota do Limoeiro. We covered about 40km, having a great chat, enjoying a spectacular sunrise, and taking in nature (including guinea fowl!). We showed how good it is, from time to time, to forget the pressure of finishing ahead of the group and just enjoy the scenery. We also had a cool chat about how to introduce kids to cycling. I highly recommend the Rota do Limoeiro! The terrain is very challenging and the elevation gain is manageable; just remember to stay hydrated if you come in the heat, because the area is quite open.
