Flying over Franz Josef Glacier and landing on the Tasman Glacier
It was a lifetime experience to fly over Franz Josef Glacier and then landing on the largest and longest Glacier of New Zealand the Tasman Glacier. The best way is a helicopter tour or go by a ski plane. It was amazing experience flying over Tasman Glacier and standing on top of Tasman Glacier with a view on Mount Cook. For this experience you can take the Mount Cook helicopter tour with Glacier landing from the town of Franz Josef which will take you first over New Zealands Southern Alps over the famous Franz Josef glacier to then continue towards Mount Cook and land on the Tasman Glacier.
