Drain the sour cherries in a sieve. Place the butter and sugar in the mixing bowl and cream for 1 minute at 37°C on speed 3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix for 20 seconds on speed 4. Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt and mix for another 20 seconds on speed 4. Add the natural yogurt and mix for 10 seconds on speed 4. Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan, smooth the surface, distribute the drained sour cherries on top, and press them in lightly. Bake the cake at 180°C (350°F) for 45-50 minutes, covering it slightly for the last 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy! Enjoy!
