But for a family of 4-5 people, you can make a great party meal with this roast chicken. I used a 1 1/2 kg corn poulard and this size is perfectly sufficient for 4 adults. With boiled potatoes, red cabbage and gravy..😋😋😋 I put the corn poulard in a brine for 3-3.5 hours before baking. The result was great! Be sure to try it out. Have fun with the video. Brined roast chicken Here are the ingredients for the recipe: 1 chicken (my corn poulard weighed 1 1/2 kg) 250 ml of water Half a cup of salt (130 g) One tablespoon of sugar 1 teaspoon peppercorns One large clove of garlic 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds 1-2 bay leaves 1 tbsp rosemary 1 teaspoon thyme 1 clove 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 liters of cold water To coat the chicken, I used some melted butter, salt, pepper and paprika powder.
