From a very young age, little Thamara was interested in the world of music and dance. Although she was a good dancer, she recalled in an interview that she didn't know she had the voice of a true singer. “At first, I didn't know I could sing. Yes, I was a dancer. I used to sing in my backyard, they put me in a yunza (a traditional Andean celebration) and I sang. Everyone liked it,” she said on the program Domingo al Día.
