Ottosdal, North West! S1 – Ep 509

Once again, we were amazed by the number of silos we saw on our drive to Ottosdal. The town was still quite busy for a Saturday afternoon, which gave us a glimpse into the business side of the town. The Dutch Reformed Church, a beautiful sandstone building, was built in 1913. We could see the agricultural showgrounds, which looked to be in excellent condition, but we couldn’t get inside the grounds to explore. The Country Club was a fun place and busy due to the rugby match between the Springboks and Ireland. Our overnight stay at Ouplaas was wonderful, it’s such an incredible and beautiful place. Visiting Ottosdal was a real treat.
