Treadle Wheel Grinder inspired by Roy Underhill The Woodwright's Guide book. Materials used: 2x12 yellow pine, homemade hubs, 16 inches of 1/2 inch rod with one end keyed and the opposite end having a number 3 tapered pin, 2 different sizes electrical conduit used for hinge of foot pedal. Klingspor grinding roll 80 grit (prefer 60 grit). 2 new Chinese made pillow blocks $10 each. There are many materials and many ways to build this same machine.
