„Twoja opinia się nie liczy, bo jesteś kobietą" | SUPERGIRL i hejt na krytyczki
"Your opinion doesn't count because you're a woman." That's the kind of comment you get when you've written about pop culture for well over a decade. We sat down to talk about SUPERGIRL — the crushing reviews we don't quite buy — and about the price women pay for having an opinion online. My guest is Katarzyna Czajka-Kominiarczuk, author of the blog "Zwierz Popkulturalny," a Polish pop-culture critic and author of a book on the Oscars. We talk about why Milly Alcock is the brightest spot in the film, why the quietest scenes are the best ones, and why "I have to save my dog" works better as a motivation than it sounds. Then it gets serious: the Variety interview where the lead actress traced her own harasser, the grifters who make a living off culture wars, how the Polish internet copies Western battles wholesale, and why the great "gender war" is so convenient for the people who actually hold power. This conversation is in Polish with full English subtitles — turn on CC. ABOUT THE FILM: SUPERGIRL (2026), directed by Craig Gillespie ("Cruella," "I, Tonya"), written by Ana Nogueira, based on the comic "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. Starring Milly Alcock (Kara Zor-El), David Corenswet (Superman), Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley and Jason Momoa (Lobo). It's the second film in the new DC Universe.
