From Embarrassed to Determined | My Fitness Journey Starts Now. Corralejo - Fuerteventura

For years I've tried to hide how I really felt about my body. Many of you know me as the happy, joking Lee from Our Life in Fuerteventura, but behind the smiles I've been struggling with my confidence. I haven't even wanted to take my shirt off on the beach to sunbathe because I've felt so embarrassed about how I look. This all began back in 2021 when my gallbladder failed, leading to sepsis and a very frightening time in hospital. Although I eventually had my gallbladder removed, I've found it incredibly difficult to lose the weight ever since. Recently, something just clicked. I realised that if I don't make a change now, nothing is ever going to change. So... enough is enough. This video marks the very beginning of my fitness and weight loss journey. My goal isn't just to lose weight—it's to build a body I can finally be proud of and, more importantly, to become healthier and happier. I'm under no illusions... this is going to be hard work. There will be good days, bad days, setbacks and hopefully plenty of victories along the way. I wanted to share the journey from day one, completely honestly, because I know many of you may be facing similar struggles.
