Over 60? The VA System Is Secretly on Your Side — 5 Rules That Only Work for You

Most older veterans assume the VA system is stacked against them. It is not. If you are over 60, there are five rules written into the regulations that work in your favor specifically — and almost nobody tells you about them. Used together, they can take a 50% rating to a 90%. The five rules: — Functional loss (38 CFR 4.40): you are rated on what you can no longer do, not the angle a tool measures — and you have decades of wear to show for it — Secondary condition chains (38 CFR 3.310): one old injury cascades into hip, back, and nerve conditions you can still claim, at the "at least as likely as not" standard — PACT Act presumptives: served in a qualifying place with the diagnosis = automatic, and time does not count against you — Examiner credibility: a 62-year-old with 35 years of records draws far less doubt than a 28-year-old — The 55-year rule (38 CFR 3.327): once you are past 55 the VA requests re-exams only under unusual circumstances, so you can file without fear of a routine reduction One veteran in the video went from 30% to 90% using these — his monthly check more than tripled. 📘 The Veteran's Benefits Playbook — every rule that moves your check, in plain English with the section numbers so you can verify it yourself: https://seniorfinance.gumroad.com/l/v... Frank Sutherland is a veteran, not an attorney and not a VA claims examiner. Every regulation cited here is shown on screen from eCFR.gov and VA.gov. The 55-year rule limits routine re-exams; it is not an absolute bar to a reduction. Confirm your own situation before you file. #VADisability #VeteransOver60 #VeteransBenefits #VAClaims #PACTAct
