Get ready to learn some exercises you can do both sitting and standing that will help strengthen your feet and improve their overall health. While seated, you can do the following exercises: stand on your toes, raise your feet to one side and then the other without moving your knees, pick up a towel with your feet, squeeze the towel between your toes, spread your toes, and shorten the arch of your foot. Exercises you can do standing include: stand on your toes, stand on your toes on one leg, single-leg balance, and, if this goes well, perform lateral movements, squats while maintaining three points of contact with the ground, small two-legged hops, and small one-legged hops. Regarding the dosage, I recommend starting slowly and gradually increasing the number of repetitions and the intensity of the exercises as your feet get stronger. It's essential that you listen to your body and allow yourself enough time to recover between sets and training sessions. Remember that a certain degree of discomfort is normal when you start working muscles that aren't used to exercise, but you should always avoid pain.
