Trains from Beverley to Rochdale and Todmorden

Catching the 8:10am Hull Train from Beverley to Hull then buying a Northern Ranger Ticket for £12 allows unlimited travelling on their trains from 8:45am, with vouchers from participating newspapers. First I get the train to Halifax which takes about 2 hours through Leeds. Then another Northern train to Rochdale about 30 minutes. Rochdale is in the Greater Manchester area with trams, lots of street art and public spaces. I spent a while exploring the town. Then caught another train to the next station back towards home, Todmorden. A beautiful place cared for by lots of volunteers. Lots of gardens and artwork dotted around the town. I met 2 ladies near Todmorden railway station about to do a tour of the garden features.
