Making Bread from Oaks! Mountain Kebab on Open Fire
Welcome to our mountain home! 🏔️ In this video, my mother prepares a traditional meal using Oak Bread (Kalag). First, she soaks the dried pieces of oak bread in water until they soften into a dough. After lighting the wood fire, she uses a traditional tool to spread the dough on a hot griddle. Then, she grills chicken over the fire to enjoy a delicious lunch with Rose. Oak bread is a highly nutritious heritage of our region, traditionally eaten with kebab, broth, or Kale-Pache.
