Triumph scammed me | Given wrong motorcycle | Tracker 400 |

The email I sent to triumph India. Dear Triumph India Team, I am writing this email with a deep sense of shock, emotional distress, and disappointment regarding my recent purchase of a Triumph Tracker 400 from the Popular Triumph, Nagarabhavi branch, Bengaluru. I completed all my payments on 30th April 2026. On 7th May 2026, I traveled 150 km from my hometown of Mysore to Bengaluru to collect my dream motorcycle. Because the number plate was delayed, the dealership promised to send it to the Mysore showroom later. Today, after two full weeks of me riding and bonding with this motorcycle, the dealership called me to state that they had delivered the wrong motorcycle to me. The chassis number on the physical bike does not match my registration documents. This is not a simple clerical error; it is a case of gross negligence, Deficiency in Service, and Unfair Trade Practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The dealership forced me to ride a vehicle with incorrect paperwork across a 150 km highway from Bengaluru to Mysore. If I had been stopped by law enforcement, or worse, if I had been involved in an accident, the insurance would have been completely void, and I would have faced severe legal or criminal liabilities. Who would have been responsible for my life and safety? I have had to travel 150 km multiple times to book and collect this vehicle. Furthermore, I have spent my own hard-earned money fueling a motorcycle that your dealership now wants to take back. Buying a Triumph was a lifetime dream for me. For two weeks, I have treated this machine as my own. To be told so casually that it belongs to someone else is psychologically agonizing and has entirely ruined my delivery experience. The dealership is now simply asking for a quiet exchange. This is completely unacceptable. How can I trust that the "new" motorcycle they want to hand over has not been used as a test-ride vehicle or mistreated by someone else? Before I agree to any vehicle swap or surrender the keys to the current motorcycle, I demand a formal resolution and written confirmation on the following: I demand to know how Triumph India and the dealership intend to financially and materially compensate me for this severe negligence. #triumphtracker400 #scam #triumphindia
