The New Rabotnik [ 392 ] Quite a sensational find: Sigmar Polke's original video's as realized when he worked on his Farbtablen [1988-93]. Now, we can rediscover these enigmatic paintings - now on view in Amsterdam Stedelijk Museum - as Sigmars personal Jungle Book. Even when today his extensive film material cannot evade a serious reexamination as possible Western colonial, orientalism production, these never before published video's have another sensational impact.
