Honey Harvest Part 1: Fume Board vs Bee Brush

It is honey harvest time. In this video I pull 6 supers off of 2 hives and test two different methods for clearing bees from the frames. On one hive I use a solar fume board with Fischer's Bee Quick spray, and on the other I go frame by frame with a bee brush. One method was clearly faster and less disruptive than the other. There are still 5 more supers left on the hives that are not quite ready yet, so we will be back for those soon. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we get into the honey house and start extracting.
