Wastwater in the Lake District

Wast Water is England's deepest lake and lies in Wasdale in the western part of the Lake District National Park. At its deepest it is 285ft deep and is about 3 miles long. I think this is one of the forgotten lakes of the Lake District, it is not as easy to get to as say, Windermere or Ullswater, but it has a rugged charm that must be seen and experienced. Way back in 2007 the view looking down the lake was voted Britain's favorite view by TV viewers. This video takes you along the lake road to Wasedale Head and then on to the tiny Church of St Olaf - the smallest parish church in England Marshall Equipment used Nikon Z6 camera Nikkor 24-200mm lens Benro Tripod Manfrotto head Feiyu Pocket Cam Check out my website at www. mlsimages.co.uk
