CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE

Welcome back to Dreaming of a Chateau! Join us this Christmas Eve for our final episode of 2022. This December we had the wonderful task of preparing the Chateau for CHRISTMAS for the very first time! This is our first year spending Christmas in France, and though it is just the three of us here, it has turned out to be an incredibly beautiful and restorative Holiday Season. We took a weekend trip to Europes OLDEST and most FAMOUS and MAGICAL Christmas Market- located in the beautiful north-eastern french city of Strasbourg. A 5 hour train later, we arrived in this wonderful city with many german influences, where they truly know how to get into the Christmas spirit! 10 different Christmas markets cover this old medieval city... the smell of mulled wine fills the streets and at the center of the old city is one of the most magnificent Cathedrals we've ever seen. We also had the lovely holiday surprise this December of being invited to Jenny's Chateau Farm for their Swedish Christmas Party!
