How to (slow) start a Tunisian in the Round project - tutorial

I was asked to show the start of a Tunisian in the round project verrrry slowly and so I did by making this video. When you can manage the first 5 rounds I think you can manage all the patterns so I hope this is helpful for all of you. I've designed The Norwegian Wonderland blanket a very addictive Tunisian in the round project, you can find the pattern at Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/designers/my-... This blanket is designed with squares of 3 sizes 90, 60 and 30 stitches each, which you can mix and match to build your own blanket. You can take as many squares and designs as you like to build the size of your preferences. Or build your blanket in just one size, whatever you want. (For example with 9 squares of 90 stitches your blanket will be 160cmx160cm) Every month there will be a new set available at Ravelry, in total there are 9 sets of squares. The last one is a december design to end with a little Christmas feeling. In the mean time there will be more video’s with complete square tutorials and a video about how to make a great double tunisian border (in mosaic we name it an envelope border) as well. Yarn and hooks For Tunisian in the Round (TIR) you need a double ended hook, mine are (custom made) made by Henryettashooks you can order them here: https://henryettashooks.co.uk/shop/ol... The yarn I use in this video is Hobbii Winterglow in the colours Avocado and the mahogany shade nr 30. As my hooks are custom made I use a 5.5mm for the forward part and a 5mm for the backwards part as the stitch extension is better like that for me. This is personal so please try a test piece for yourself to see what hooksize and stitch extension you prefer.
