In addition, I compare the effects of fasting in humans and rodents, showing you how our responses are less extreme. And don't miss the part where I discuss autophagy. Although fasting increases it, I show you why it's not the most efficient way to do it. I tell you that physical exercise and maintaining a controlled caloric balance can be much better and safer strategies to enhance this process.
