Xavier Festa (SabiFes) is a market-style event held at a church. We wanted to create an opportunity for people to visit church through local shops, music, and other fun activities. It started a few years ago with this in mind. The event is mainly run by members in their 20s, each contributing what they can to bring it to life. Honestly, it's not the most efficient way. I'm sure there are better ways to do it. I myself am acutely aware of my own shortcomings and inadequacies, and I'm constantly reflecting on them. Nevertheless, I believe that the process of "creating together" itself embodies the essence of a church, and that's why I've chosen this format. After all, a church isn't a completed building, but rather a gathering of people that gradually takes shape through their relationships. To everyone who attends, the exhibitors, and the volunteers, and to the many people who support us behind the scenes, we hope this will be a truly wonderful day.
