Dharavi Redevelopment: Hope, fear, and the price of progress | BBC News India
Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum is set for redevelopment. Spread across 600 acres and employing over a 100,000 people, a plan to overhaul Dharavi is underway in India’s financial and entertainment capital Mumbai. The project is being executed through a partnership between the government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group led by Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. The BBC's Sumedha Pal and Anshul Verma travelled to Dharavi to speak to the residents about their anxieties and aspirations around the project. #dharaviredevelopmentproject #dharavi #dharavimumbai #adani #gautamadani #dharavidevelopment #dharaviredevelopmentplan #dharaviplanmumbai #gautamadani #dharavidocumentary #dharaviredevelopmentdocumentary #maharashtra Click here to subscribe to our channel 👉🏽 https://bbc.in/3whmDp3 ----------------------------------- This is the official BBC News India channel.
