The 200 kg calf, which was traded at around R$ 17/kg at its peak, fell to the range of R$ 15.50 to R$ 16/kg and has recovered in recent weeks, currently being traded between R$ 16 and R$ 16.50/kg. This recovery reinforces the perception that the supply of replacement cattle remains restricted.
