House, Soul & Dance Radio vol 136 Feb - April 1991

Tracks recorded on a Sony UX90 cassette tape between February and April 1991 from the UK Charts, I have removed the Pop tracks leaving just the House Hip Hop, Soul & Dance tracks. This tape is packed with gems, including two of the biggest House tracks ever: the original version of the anthem "Where Love Lives" by Alison Limerick, recently featured in the latest John Lewis advert, and The Source featuring Candi Staton’s "You Got The Love," which was remixed and climbed both Dance and Pop charts multiple times across the 80s, 90s, and even into the 2000s. There’s also the legendary Trip Hop classic "Unfinished Sympathy" by Massive Attack, along with two of my personal 1991 soulful Downtempo Deep House favorites—Banderas’ "This Is My Life" and Quartz featuring Dina Carroll’s "It’s Too Late." Other standouts include tracks from Xpansions ("Move Your Body"), Nomad, 808 State, LL Cool J, and two by N-Joi, who open and close the tape—a first, as far as I know on my tapes.
