Reviving a Dead Atari 2600 Jr. | Custom AV Mod & Full PCB Overhaul

šŸ”§ Welcome to Wolfi’s Den! I bring retro consoles, PCs, and nostalgic gadgets back to life—one capacitor at a time. This Atari 2600 Junior from 1980s was found abandoned in an attic—dirty, broken, and nearly junked. It wouldn’t power on, the board was filthy, and the RF output was useless. So I went all in. šŸ› ļø Full PCB recap šŸ› ļø Brand-new voltage regulator šŸ› ļø Hand-made custom AV mod PCB (yes, etched from scratch!) šŸ› ļø Deep-cleaned & restored shell šŸ› ļø Plastic cartridge tabs cold-welded & rebuilt šŸ› ļø Tested on CRT with Battlezone—the only fitting way to end this one This isn’t just a cleanup—it’s an electronics resurrection. And yes, it now has composite video out! ā˜• Enjoyed this video?
