Welcome to a new video on my YouTube channel. This is the final chapter of the Desert Route, an adventure that began in November, where we traveled more than 9,000 kilometers with my dad, in the driest desert on the planet, traveling from the sea to the mountains and back. We still have many places to visit, and I hope to return one day and share them with you. In this episode, we traveled south from Copiapó. We first stopped at the San José Mine, where 33 miners were trapped underground for more than 70 days and were successfully rescued. Then we headed along the coast, where we stopped for a fried fish lunch in Caleta Pajonales, and then went to the small oasis of the town of Toconao. We continued to Vallenar, where we connected with Route 5 to La Serena, where we spent the night at the Soberanía Hotel. The next day, we traveled straight home on Route 5 without stopping.
