Mr Heater Buddy vs Olympian Wave Heaters - Best for Van or RV Life?

A heat source is at least desirable if not necessary for many nomads, snowbirds, RVers, and van dwellers. Even if "chasing the weather" you are still likely to encounter some cold nights. Two of the most popular options for travelers who want a simple heater that does not require electricity are the Mr Heater Portable Buddy and the Olympian Wave 3 (or Wave 6). These heaters operate on propane, but are designed for safe, indoor usage without additional venting. Both models also feature tip-over and low oxygen safety sensors. In this video I share my thoughts on both the Mr Heater Portable Buddy and the Olympian Wave 3, along with some brief considerations of the differences between similar models of propane catalytic heater. Which propane heater is best for a van or RV? That's probably a subjective decision based on your needs - vehicle, weather conditions, and budget. These are the two heaters that most van dwellers and small RV dwellers seem to choose most often, and that is because they work well in that situation.
