Isabelle Sparkle Smashes Abbey Park Leicester Inaugural Parkrun

Today we visited the Abbey Park Parkrun on its very 1st event. I'm so lucky to have been here to run it with all the lovely runners. I was not chasing a PB or fantastic time today, I did not know the course, and having ran several personal bests lately I took this opportunity to run for the love of it and enjoy the lovely scenery. Today I ran with my Mummy while my Daddy ran off and came in 2nd place. Hes so speedy he got 19:18. I even got a high five on the bridge. I'm Isabelle Sparkle and I love running. I have done 23 full length Parkruns and 11 Junior. I have mostly done these when I was 6 years old, I turned 7 in feb. 2 Weeks ago I ran a PB with my Daddy at 26:53 and I was so Happy. The weekend after I ran a 26:15 with my Mummy. Another PB. Aces!!!! Up until now I have only ran at Parkrun, no other training. To get better I need to train so now I go out with either Mummy or Daddy in the week to do either a steady run, hill runs or speed work.
