A Dolphin They Don’t Want Filipinos to Know About

It took me 8 months, 3 expeditions, and 5 boat rides to find one of the most endangered dolphins in the world, the Irrawaddy Dolphin, or Lumba-Lumba as locals would call them. More Filipinos need to know that these animals exist, that's why I went on a journey to find them and to find out the threats that keep them close to extinction. In all my attempts to find endangered animals, this one so far has been the most difficult. I am deeply invested in this story and I hope this video will do justice to these majestic marine mammals that live in the coastal areas of Bago, Pulupandan, Iloilo and Guimaras. I hope you guys will enjoy watching. Sharing this to your friends and family would be a huge help to the channel and to the animals we want to shine the spotlight on. Maraming salamat. This video was produced with the support of Earth Journalism Network, whose mentorship and guidance enabled me to create a balanced and ethical story. #Irrawaddy #wildlifeconservation #philippinebiodiversity
