Rosi lives at home with her family: her father, mother, grandmother, older sister, and younger sister. Rosi's father is the main breadwinner, a full-time fisherman, hauling squid, crabs, and fish to sell on a raft. The income isn't enough, especially if storms hit, preventing her from going out on the boat. Rosi's mother used to go out to sea with her father, but since her mother faced health problems after being diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, she has had to stop sailing and rest to take care of her health. Rosi's father has helped her with everything, from housework, to caring for her younger siblings, to even going fishing with her father.
