Rather than photograph the match like a professional sports photographer, I used one camera and one 35mm lens to capture the fans, families, stadium atmosphere, cultural identity, celebrations, and small moments happening throughout the day. In this video, I share the photos I made, explain how I used zone focusing, hip shooting, different vantage points, and the M11-P’s 60-megapixel sensor, and explore what it takes to build a complete documentary photography story at one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
