The Deputy Chief Minister and Chief Minister of Bihar (along with senior leaders with executive responsibilities) and key ministers officially inaugurated this world-famous fair by lighting a lamp at the Brahmakund complex, performing a grand aarti, and hoisting the traditional flag. The world-famous Malmas Mela 2026 (May 17th to June 15th) has commenced today in the historic and spiritual city of Rajgir. According to beliefs, all 33 crore deities of the universe reside in Rajgir for this entire month. On the auspicious occasion of the inauguration, the flag was hoisted with Vedic chanting in the presence of chief guests and revered saints, and a special Maha Aarti was held at the Brahmakund complex. The entire Rajgir is currently filled with devotional and sacred energy.
