On the very first day of this sacred fair, which holds special significance in Sanatan Dharma, the land of Rajgir reverberated with the cheers of devotees. It is believed that during Malmas (Purushottam month), 330 million deities from across the universe reside in Rajgir. With this belief, millions of devotees have arrived from all corners of the country. Here is a detailed account of the amazing and spectacular scene from the first day of the fair: 1. A grand confluence of faith at Brahmakund Even before the morning sun rays fell on the first day of the fair, a huge crowd of devotees gathered at Brahmakund and other hot water springs (Saptdhara, Suryakund, etc.). Massive Crowds and Arrangements On the very first day, Rajgir railway station, bus stand, and main roads were thronged with devotees. Tent City and Facilities: The modern 'Tent City', built by the administration for devotees from far-off places, was fully occupied on the first day. Excellent arrangements have been made for accommodation, drinking water, and Mahaprasad (food distribution). Tight Security Arrangements: To control the massive crowds, police forces, magistrates, and CCTV cameras are monitoring every corner.
