Rebuilding the Interior of My Crash-Damaged BMW 320d

Rebuilding a crashed 2023 BMW 320D Touring! In this salvage car rebuild episode, we tackle a massive interior restoration. Since front-end parts are still arriving for our G21 car restoration project, it is time to strip and replace the entire interior. After gathering all essential parts and preparing the airbag module, the moment of truth arrives for this car restoration. We've addressed the airbag module by clearing any stored codes, and the main focus now is on installing the pyro fuse to finally get this DIY car back on the road. Wish me luck with this critical car fix! This BMW had pretty much every safety system deploy at once: • Passenger airbag • Steering wheel airbag • Driver knee airbag • Curtain airbags • Locked seat belts with blown pre-tensioners So before we could put anything back together, everything had to come out first. In this video we remove: ✔️ Seats & seat belts ✔️ Center console ✔️ Dashboard & screens ✔️ Steering wheel & trim pieces Then we begin rebuilding with: 🔧 Clearing the airbag module & installing the pyro fuse 🔧 New curtain airbags 🔧 Replacement dashboard 🔧 New seat belts 🔧 Headliner reinstall 🔧 Full interior reassembly BMW definitely does things differently compared to Mercedes — some parts were surprisingly straightforward, while others fought back the entire way 😅 And just when the interior was finally starting to look like a real car again, a cracked steering wheel trim piece stopped everything dead in its tracks.
