Son Says He Was Fearful of Dad Before Murder as Mom Claims Self-Defense in Trial

Angel Ricci, the son of Christine and Michael Ricci, testified Thursday as a state’s witness in the murder trial against his mother. During his testimony, Angel said he was afraid of his father stating, “My whole life I had a fear of my dad.” Angel explained it wasn’t until his father got sober, shortly before his death, that they started to get closer. First responders said Michael, a Boston firefighter, had been stabbed in the heart.
