The brand-new Herten Weesterholt train station finally opened on December 14, 2025, and the elevators are brand new. Both elevators were built in 2025, and since everything is brand new, the elevators are completely undamaged inside (without any vandalism). The elevators have very loud announcements and chimes. This is a new stop for the S9 line and the second train station in Herten; unfortunately, the station in the city center doesn't have elevators. The floor indicator display is also modern. Let's hope the elevators remain in such good condition, as seen in my video, for a long time to come.
