Norfolk, VA: Historic 1920s OTIS elevator in a Private Home

(June 2026) This was an amazing experience. A homeowner in Norfolk invited me to see the elevator in his house and what a treat it was! This was not a LULA or residential elevator. This is a full scale commercial elevator. This home was a funeral home in its past life and I assume that is why it has this elevator. It is amazing and runs like the day it was installed.
